Paul Potgieter

Paul is a Psychologist at Nutricula Psychology specialising in providing psychological interventions to individuals, couples, and the resources industry.


Paul has more than 25 years’ experience in the mental health field and more than 10 years as a psychologist in Australia. He enjoys helping people with different forms of mental illness, trauma and difficulties in their intimate relationships and relationships at work. He has worked across various industries including not for profit, government, and private practice.


In addition to his qualifications in Psychology, he has a master’s degree in business, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, allowing for a unique insight into the challenges originations face as well as the skill set to guide organisations in cultural change, staff retention and development, increasing productivity and managing people with mental health related illnesses in the workplace. He has developed various training programs targeting high-risk environments to improve safety, employee awareness, resilience, and mental wellness.


He is also a certified Neuro-psychotherapist with a keen interest in Neuroscience and strives to incorporate the vast knowledge that Neuroscience offers regarding mental wellbeing and illness in his practise. He is currently the president of the International Association of Applied Neuroscience. He developed one of the first brain-based conflict resolution models in the world that he was privileged to present at three International Conferences.

Dr Raychelle Sidhu

Clinical Psychologist 

I completed her First Class Honours and Doctoral degree in Psychology at the University of Queensland. She is registered with the Australian Board of Psychology and endorsed in the area of Clinic Psychology. She enjoys working with adults and older adolescents who are experiencing a broad range of psychological concerns to help identify their strengths and learn coping strategies to heal from past and present difficulties. She has undertaken extensive training in treating clients with trauma histories and significant expertise in treating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, addictions and managing major life transitions.  She utilises a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy. 


Kelly Black


Kelly Black is a Registered Psychologist at Nutricula Psychology with over 10 years experience.

Kelly has worked within community mental health, private, government and not for profit sectors with children, adolescent and adult clients.

Kelly has a passion for helping people across the lifespan with difficulties related to anxiety, stress, depression, trauma and posttraumatic stress, attachment and family relationship concerns, addiction, skills training and peri and postnatal clients in pregnancy.

In addition to her qualifications in Psychology, Kelly has certificates in attachment based family therapy for adolescents, Positive Behaviour Support and Trauma Focussed Therapy, allowing for a unique insight into difficulties experienced across the lifespan.

Kelly integrates a range of evidence-based assessment and intervention to provide a tailored approach.

Kelly accepts referrals including but not limited to Medicare, WorkCover Queensland and NDIS clients.


Susan Murray 


Susan has worked for the past 14 years in the mental health and disability sector. She has experience working with clients across the lifespan.

Susan is experienced in providing individual, couples and family therapy as well as therapy groups and workshops. Susan has training in Cognitive Behaviour therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Trauma Focused Psychological Therapy. Susan can assist people struggling with grief and loss, depression, types of anxiety and panic, sexual assault, relationship issues, PTSD, anger management, body image issues, self-esteem, communication skills, addictions and career guidance.

As well as her qualifications in psychology, Susan possesses a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, including Literacy and Numeracy, and a Certificate IV in Employment Services


Bendoline Holzhausen 


Bendoline has recently joined us from South Africa where she completed her master’s in psychology. She works from a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Brain Working Recursive Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Interactional Pattern Analysis and Person-Centered Therapy.


Bendoline has more than 5 year’s experience working with children adolescents and adults struggling with issues like trauma, sexual assault, PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, sexual health and career assessment and guidance. She also works with couples, having experience with premarital counselling and working with couples struggling with various difficulties. She enjoys travelling and reading, and spends time enjoying all the water-activities in her free time.


Tertia Potgieter


Tertia is the director of Nutricula Psychology. She has more than 14 year’s experience in the mental health care industry and many years in financial and business management. Tertia is original from South Africa and has been in financial positions with international companies in Sydney before moving to Mackay 16 years ago. She enjoys the challenges of running a small business and has been instrumental in partnering with the Medicross group in Brisbane which led to Nurticula Psychology now having offices at two locations in Brisbane with another in the Gold Coast opening soon. She travels between the Mackay and Brisbane offices enjoying the challenges involved in ensuring we provide quality services to our clients.


Sue Percy

Customer Service Officer 

Sue recently joined our team and has settled in so nicely. She has worked as an Administrator in the Health, Education and Mining industries most of her life and she enjoys meeting new people and providing a caring and professional service to our clients. Sue loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys the outdoors, gardening, camping, and bushwalking.


Naomi Mcfarlane

Customer Service Officer

Naomi has worked in reception and administration in various industries throughout her working career. 

She enjoys the interaction with different clientele and assisting all members of the team Nutricula.

Her biggest attribute is her smile and the genuine warmth she demonstrates to all who walk through the door or greeted by telephone.
